I love photographing weddings at Lympne Castle down on the Kent coast – and Steph and Alan’s was no exception – a beautiful bride, happy couple and a fantastic setting made for some great wedding photography!
After their wedding ceremony in the main room, Steph and Alan led their guests through to the fantastic rear terrace where drinks were served and the guests could enjoy the lovely sunshine and far-reaching views to the sea. Once we’d completed the group shots, the bride and groom stayed behind in the lawned area for some couple shots in the fantastic light, after which they rejoined the guests.
Steph and Alan had their wedding breakfast in the fantastically light marquee, with speeches between courses – Mother of the Bride first, then Father, Alan and finally bestman. Some great moments and reactions to photograph, including a photo for bride only – Alan naked (or so I was told!).
As the sun set over the sea, I quickly grabbed the couple again for a few shots, before it was time to move back to the main reception room in the castle for the first dance and party!
Here are my favourites from the last part of Steph and Alan’s day! If your wedding is at Lympne Castle and are looking for wedding photography, please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Congratulations once again to Steph and Alan!
