Kent Wedding Photographer
Hello, I’m David
I’m a full-time professional wedding photographer based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent with over sixteen years of experience capturing weddings across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Essex, London and throughout the UK. I love photographing real moments than matter so you can remember your day exactly how it felt.
Your wedding day should be about joy, laughter, connection and feeling totally in the moment. That’s why my approach is relaxed, natural and truly observational. I stay out o the way and let your day unfold while I quietly record all the emotions, the little looks, the laughter and the love that make your story unique.
You won’t find lots of over-posed, forced smiles and endless group shots here. Instead, you’ll get honest, heartfelt and candid images that show how it felt to be there. I do set aside some time for beautiful portraits of you as a couple and some groups of the loved ones you want to remember forever, but always in a way that feels comfortable and natural.
Your wedding photos are more than pictures. They are memories you’ll want to share with family and friends, hang on the wall, look back on with love, and show to future generations. My job is to capture your story in a way that feels like you were there again.

Let's tell your wedding story
Your Wedding Story
I photograph weddings in a relaxed, natural and unobtrusive way – most of the time you won’t even notice I’m there. My focus is on capturing real moments as they happen, so you can enjoy your day without feeling directed or overly posed.
My style is documentary and candid, capturing the laughter, emotion and atmosphere that makes your wedding unique. I’m always watching out for the small moments as well as the big ones, because those are often the memories you’ll treasure the most.
When we take the couples photos, I keep things simple and comfortable, with some gentle guidance to start and let you be you. My aim is always for you to feel like yourselves, not like you’re performing for the camera.
This approach suits couples who want honest wedding photography that reflects how their day actually felt.

Have a few quick questions?
How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples book their wedding photographer 12-18 months in advance, especially for peak summer and weekend dates. If your wedding is coming up sooner it’s always worth getting in touch – I take on a limited number of weddings each year but do occasionally have availability at shorter notice.
How would you describe your photography style?
my approach is mostly documentary wedding photography – think natural, candid and unobtrusive rather than endless group shots. I focus on real moments as they unfold so your photos feel honest and true to the day, rather than staged or forced.
When will we receive our wedding photos?
You’ll receive your full gallery within 4 – 8 weeks. Every image is carefully selected and hand-edited by me, with an emphasis on natural colour, real black and whites, and storytelling that reflects how your wedding actually felt.
