Another one from the pre-Covid archives, but relevant to when we’re allowed to have weddings again. Emma, Ben and bump at the Mansion House in tunbridge Wells – a beautiful, fun-filled intimate spring ceremony which shows small can still be beautiful!
Emma and Ben hired me to cover arrivals, the ceremony and then confetti, groups and portraits in the park. Love this sort of mid-week job which is a 5 minute drive from home – even more so when it’s just full of smiles and laughter!
Out in the beautiful spring sunshine, I captured guest arrivals and then Ben’s arrival at the Mansion House (Tunbridge Wells Register Office). Once buttonholes had gone on, it was great to just candidly photograph as everyone mingled and chatted, whilst we waited for Emma’s arrival.
Soon everyone made their way up to the ceremony room before Emma arrived. After quick interviews with registrar, it was time for the intimate, relaxed ceremony as close family and friends watched the happy couple (or should that be all three of them) make their vows to each other. Some amazing, sweet moments followed during and just after the ceremony.
Once the ceremony was concluded we made our way back outside into the sunshine, and then we all made the short walk around the corner into Calverley Grounds for confetti! After a few group shots, the guests made their way back to the Mansion House whilst Emma and Ben stayed with me for some portraits in the beautiful sunshine.
A quick walk back to capture Emma and Ben leaving, then I jumped in the car and was home in time for lunch!
Congratulations to Emma and Ben! If you’re having a more intimate wedding (due to Covid or by choice!) then do please get in touch to discuss your plans!
