Stewart Parvin Brides show at The Savoy, London

In late November I was delighted to be invited to photograph an exclusive event at the stunning Savoy Hotel in London.

The evening was a Brides Magazine reader event, hosted in conjunction with The Savoy, Stewart Parvin and London wedding planner Bruce Russell. Guests were treated to an afternoon tea and drank Grey Goose cocktails in the sumptuous surroundings of the Thames Foyer of The Savoy whilst watching a salon privé-style catwalk of Stewart Parvin’s 2016 bespoke wedding dress collection.

I started off the evening documenting the back stage preparations, as six stunning models were prepared in hair and makeup, whilst Stewart’s team finished last minute preparations to ensure the designs looked at their amazing best and so that the catwalk show would run like clockwork.

At 7pm, the show started as the stunning models, in a succession of elegant gowns, glided between the guests to showcase Stewart’s signature style. Seeing the dresses come to life and showing movement really allowed the brides-to-be who attended the event get a sense of how the gowns would look on their wedding days.

After the event, Stewart, Bruce and the Brides team were on hand to chat to the guests in further detail about their wedding day.
