Ash has had a church in various forms since Norman times, but the earliest parts of St Peter & St Paul’s Church Ash (the chancel and tower) date from the thirteenth century, whilst the nave was rebuilt in the latter middle ages. The tower houses six bells dating from the eighteenth century.
