Here’s part 2 of Catie and Andy’s gorgeous Spa Hotel wedding from last year!
Catie and Andy were married at All Saints Church Horsmonden, and then made their way to the fantastic Spa Hotel, Tunbridge Wells for their reception. Whilst some of the guests were still en route to the reception, I quickly whisked the happy couple down the lake for some photographs, before they joined their guests on the back lawn for drinks, giant Jenga and a fantastic magician.
After the group shots, we made our way inside to capture the details in the reception room, before watching in awe (and photographing) as Catie’s stepfather put together an amazing ice sculpture containing photos of Catie and Andy – amazing! The guests certainly all agreed as they filed into the reception room to find their seats for the wedding breakfast.
Once everyone had eaten, it was time for the speeches – one of my favourite parts of the day to photograph, and this time I was spoiled for choice, as I think we had five or six, with plenty of presentations – unusually, more for the bride and groom than the wedding party – including name change certificates (a joke in that the bride may have to triple barrel her name!), a cake for the groom, pictures, pillows and mugs with a picture he’d drawn as a child, and a wheelchair (can’t remember why now)!
