Here’s the last part of the wedding photography coverage of Sarah and Richard’s beautiful wedding reception at Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells in Kent.

After the wedding ceremony at St Lawrence’s church Sidcup, the wedding party made their way down to Tunbridge Wells, where Sarah and Richard’s reception was being held at the fantastic Hotel du Vin. The traffic (as always in Tunbridge Wells!) hadn’t been brilliant so after a few quick reception drinks and canapes and then photographing their group shots, I had enough time to quickly grab a few portraits with the bride and groom, before it was time for everyone to be seated for the wedding breakfast. The Ruinart room looked fantastic as always – a lovely mixture of candlelight and mirrors makes it so atmospheric for wedding receptions.

After the meal, Sarah’s relatives decided to make a few changes to the seating plan and put all their tables into one, long party table – the laughter coming from that end of the room was infectious so it wasn’t long before the party was in full swing – great for me to photograph!

Soon it was time for the speeches, which as always seemed to have a great mix of laughter and some very poignant moments, especially in Richard’s speech, so there were lots of tears but also much laughter as well, before the best man rounded things off with some cracking stories about Richard!

While the Ruinart room was being turned round for the evening, the guests made their way back to the tea lounge, which was a great time to photograph some relaxed portraits whilst everyone checked their own snaps of the day!

We then made our way back into the main room, and boy, the party just started with a bang! Everyone was dancing even before the first dance – In fact, even before the cake was cut! There were a few hairy moments as the dancing got more and more energetic – by the end, I’d stopped photographing and was standing guard over the cake – which had been moved out for the cutting – while people were being swung round! Luckily no major dramas, we cut the cake, and then back to the dancing!

Congratulations once again to Sarah & Richard – here are my favourite photographs from the last part of their wedding day!
