A couple of quick images from Mia and Dan’s pre-wedding shoot at Lake Meadows in Billericay, Essex.
I met the guys a bit later than I normally would, but this allowed the sun to come out towards the end of the shoot, which was good and bad; the wind had really picked up and of course was coming from the ‘wrong’ direction. I generally try to backlight couples, but it’s difficult when the bride has long hair and the wind is coming from behind. Fortunately, with the really late evening sunshine, with careful placement of the couple you can face them into the sun but at an angle.
We took a short, brisk (it was pretty chilly!) walk around lake Meadows to get a few images. Mia and Dan have now picked their image for their signing board, which will be on display towards the end of May at their wedding at Cooling Castle Barns.
Until then, here are a few favourites!
