Here’s the second part of Marie and Tom’s gorgeous wedding photography at The Punchbowl in High Easter, Essex.
After the service at St Marys Church and some quick bride and groom portraits, Marie and Tom joined their guests for a drink in the church ground behind The Punchbowl. Also joining the guests was a surprise Mariachi band – a first at a wedding for me, and really fun and colourful, so great to photograph!
I took the opportunity to take a few more photographs of Marie’s dress – dresses always photograph better when they’re on the bride – especially one as gorgeous as this, from the amazing Stewart Parvin (supplied by the lovely Bespoke Wardrobe).
After the group shots, it was time for the bride to throw her flowers!
A few details from the fabulous marquee that The Punchbowl have in their gardens; a lot of thought, care and effort had been put into the details, and the setting looked stunning!
Once it was time for the wedding breakfast, the Mariachi band lead the guests down to the receiving line outside the marquee. The light at this time was just amazing – low angled summer sunshine coming through some cedar trees made for some great backlit images and to me looked more like California rather than Essex!
I grabbed a few quick shots of the bride and groom while they were waiting to make their entrance, then nipped in ahead of them to capture their arrival.
A pianist entertained the guests as they sat down for the wedding breakfast.
Come back soon for the last part of Marie and Tom’s day – speeches, evening candids and dancing!
