Kerry & Glen's wedding at Cooling Castle Barn part 2

Here’s the last part of Kerry and Glen’s Christmas wedding at Cooling Castle Barn in Kent.

After the lovely marriage in the ceremony barn, Kerry and Glen made their exit through into the main barn to take in the fantastic decorations and the results of all their hard work – the barn (as always) looked stunning! Once Kerry and Glen had finished their glass of champagne, we got started on the bride and groom portraits – I always like to do a few shots in the barn, then go out to the towers for some outside shots.

After the bride and groom portraits, we quickly photographed the group shots (it was cold!!!) and then all made our way into the barn where the guests enjoyed drinks and canapes.

Soon it was time for the guests to make their way into the wedding breakfast, closely followed by the bride and groom. Once everyone was seated and enjoying their meal, I made my way back outside to setup some flashes for some cool nighttime shots of the bride and groom in front of the towers, where Kerry and Glen joined me during a break in the meal. Once we’d done a few long exposure shots, it was time to head back into the warmth for the speeches.

I love photographing the speeches as you get so many great reaction shots from the guests, family and bride and groom themselves, and this was no exception!

All too soon it was time for the first dance, and Kerry and Glen nailed it with a great first dance with some lovely tender moments, before the party started!
