Here’s the first part of Kerry and Glen’s beautiful Christmassy wedding photography at Cooling Castle Barn in Kent.
If you like Christmas and want to include it in your wedding, Cooling Castle Barn is the place to get married – they really go to town on the decorations, which certainly enhance this already beautiful venue!
Kerry and the girls had spent the previous night at the lovely Orchard Cottage B&B, so I started the day by joining them to photograph the first part of bridal preparations. Once the hair and makeup was done, we all made our way over to Cooling (Kerry resplendent in her dressing gown and veil!), where I joined Craig Prentis who was second shooting for me on the day.
Whilst Craig spent time with the boys, I photographed Kerry finishing her dressing preparations in the lovely light in the bridal suite at Cooling. If Kerry was nervous, she didn’t show it, as she was beaming all the way through the day!
Once Kerry was dressed, her proud dad came up to collect her for the ceremony and then we all made our way over to the main barn for the bride’s entrance down the famous staircase!
An emotional Glen was waiting for Kerry at the top of the aisle to begin the beautiful service surrounded by family and friends (and Christmas decorations!). After the service, Kerry and Glen made the traditional Cooling Castle Barn exit into the main barn.
Come back soon for part 2 of Kerry and Glen’s wedding day, but in the meantime here are my favourite wedding photographs from the first part of their day – hope you enjoy them!
