Here are some of my favourite wedding photography images from Jo and Rob’s lovely summer’s day. Having shot Jo’s brother’s wedding last year, I was delighted to be asked to cover her family day – the wedding took place at St Peter and St Paul’s church in East Sutton, followed by a reception in a marquee at Jo’s parents house.
I joined the family at the house, where preparations were in full swing on hair and makeup and a few last minute touches in the marquee.
Once again I was delighted to see the flowers from Amanda at Distinctly Floral – an absolutely stunning job on the bouquets and marquee flowers.
I then made my way to the churcdh to join Richard Ware who was assisting me on the day and had already covered the groom portraits.
The vicar at the church was really flexible, so I was able to move around the choir stalls (where the bridesmaids and groomsmen sat) and get some great angles.
After the bride and groom had greeted their guests, we moved onto a few quick bride and groom portraits, then confetti and then the couple jumped into their cute little vintage wedding car for the short ride to the reception – which will be coming up in part 2!

Stunning work Dave 🙂 Most impressed!
Thanks Steve!
Fabulous shots David as ever. You’ve really captured Jo and Rob’s personality and the lovely feel to the whole day. It takes me back to the lovely summers day and I love the colours of the dresses and flowers…so vibrant. Looking forward to Part Two!
Thanks Amanda. Once I’ve done part 2 in a day or two, will send those copies you wanted.
Some great angle taken from below up…good stuff as always mate…
Thanks Chris!
