Good old Britain; you can’t win with the weather. I’ve had to re-schedule 5 or 6 pre-wedding shoots recently due to the torrential downpours we’ve had, so was quite pleased that come the Sunday early evening of Jo & Rob’s shoot in Tunbridge Wells, the sun was blazing. I wasn’t so pleased when every drop of shade in the park we’d intended to use was taken up by people – the cheek of it!!! We wandered around for a few looks, but then I decided we’d head down towards the High Street and Pantiles as it would be much quieter, and also there’d be some shade – great for photos, and great for me (lugging huge bag of cameras and lenses).
I shot Jo’s brother’s wedding last year, so it will be great to shoot the next family chapter in a few weeks time!
Here are some of my favourites from the shoot. I’d had to send a couple of lenses in for service – including my Sigma 85 F1.4, so I hired Canon’s amazing 85 F1.2 and shot some of these images with it – a fantastic lens with an unique look (as is the Sigma – and less than half the price!)
All my wedding packages include a pre-wedding shoot as standard. Remember though, if you are a couple who want some lovely pictures of yourselves but aren’t quite at the tying the knot stage, then you can book a standalone couple’s shoot!
