Last October I photographed the lovely autumn wedding of Ellie and Paul at The High Rocks, Tunbridge Wells. The High Rocks is an extremely popular wedding venue, which looks particularly stunning in Autumn, when the vines covering the building turn a beautiful deep red colour.
I started the day with bridal preparations at The Royal Wells Inn, Tunbridge Wells where I joined Ellie, her multi-talented best friend (makeup artist and singer during the ceremony), parents and her beautiful little daughter.
Once I’d captured the bridal preps I made my way to the High Rocks to meet up with Paul, and then await the brides arrival. Ellie and Paul were married late in the day in the President’s suite, lit by candlelight with the sun already low in the sky – so high ISO was the order of the day! Once the ceremony had concluded, we quickly made our way up to the rocks for some bride and groom portraits in the late evening sunshine, then rejoined the guests. After the groups, the guests enjoyed a drink in the fading light before we made our way inside for the meal.
After the wedding breakfast, we enjoyed some fantastic speeches from Ellie’s father, Paul and then of course the best man.
And then onto the first dance (just after a stiff drink for bride and groom) and party to a fantastic live band!
Congratulations once again to Ellie and Paul!
