The High Rocks Tunbridge Wells is a popular Kent wedding venue five minutes drive out of central Tunbridge wells. There are five function suites in all, four of which are licenced for civil ceremonies. The High Rocks has an attractive rear garden, and if the weather is good enough, the bride and groom and their guests can make their way up to the rocks themselves for photos and/or their reception drinks. The Rocks after which the pub is named are a national monument – sandstone outcrops popular with climbers and a great backdrop for more traditional photographs.
Another big draw that makes The High Rocks so popular is that the bride (and groom) can arrive for the ceremony on the Spa Valley Railway steam train. A great alternative to arrival on the train is to take the guests on the train for a 30 minute ride, during which drinks and canapes are served!
