To get you in the Christmas mood, here’s my take on Louise & Andy’s stunning Christmassy wedding at a sunny Eastwell Manor in Kent! As usual, you can see a full selection of their images with music in the slideshow below, or read all about it with a smaller selection of photographs.

Bride & Groom Prep

I joined Louise, her bridesmaids, mum and step-daughter in the stunning bridal suite at Eastwell Manor on an amazingly sunny, crisp December morning. Hair and makeup were in full swing as I documented the details and story of their morning – lots of smiles all round! At various points In nipped down to photograph the lovely wedding ceremony room bathed in all that sunlight – it looked magical!

Meanwhile, Neil joined Andy and the couples son for some cute groom prep – well, I think the groom prepping was secondary to their adorable son! Once the boys were dressed they made their way over to Eastwell.

The Ceremony & reception

Louise & Andy’s wedding ceremony was in the lovely Bishop of Bayeux Suite – light was flooding in from the side windows which just gave it an amazing look. A very emotional ceremony followed – lots of tears but also lots of joy – so beautiful!

After the ceremony, the newlyweds held a quick receiving line by the lovely Christmas Tree, before joining guests for drinks and canapes. Then it was time to head out into the sun (and brave the cold!) for a few quick portraits while the confetti line was organised!

Through the confetti, straight into groups and then a quick wander in the grounds for some couples portraits in the late afternoon sunshine.

Wedding breakfast & Speeches

The Rose Garden Suite looked absolutely amazing and so Christmassy! We grabbed all the details before the guests made their way through to take their seats for the wedding breakfast – Louise and Andy were very keen to make their entrance!

Once everyone was seated and the bride and groom had made their grand entrance, Andy got a surprise! Louise had organised a magician that he was very keen to have – the guests loved it – some great tricks plus a few cheeky moments for the older guests!

Whilst everyone was eating I kept an eye out as we started to get an amazing sunset – so I quickly grabbed Louise and Andy for a very quick couple of shots in a break in their meal.

And then onto the speeches – some great funny moments which I always love to photograph – a great time to pick up candids.

Evening Reception

After coffee, it was time to head back into the Rose Garden Suite for the cakecut and first dance – complete with glowsticks! The Rockpins had everyone up and dancing from the off – the dancefloor was buzzing!

At the end of the evening I quickly checked outside – the December fog had descended so I whipped the guys outside for one final end-of-evening shot to finish off their coverage!

Congratulations once again to Louise & Andy!
