Here’s the last part of the Chelmsford wedding photography from Leanne and David’s wedding last year.
Leanne and David were married in St Christophers Church Wilingale and then had a fabulous reception in the grounds of their home in Essex. After cocktail hour and a few bride and groom portraits, it was time for the speeches. Leanne’s dad started us off, for what proved a very emotional few minutes. As I mentioned previously, Leanne’s father had suffered a heart attack in the week prior to the wedding, so his speech had extra poignancy for Leanne. Leanne then said a few words herself (through her tears) and then it was on to David, with a guest appearance from one of the kids! The bestman finished things off with a fantastic slideshow. Once the speeches were over, the guests all made use of the amazing bumper car ride in the paddock – the bride enjoyed a few goes herself, braving the weather.
It was then time to kick things off back in the marquee with an impromptu bouquet toss, then onto the first dance and party.
To finish off the evening (for me anyway!) all the guests made their way outside for a surprise firework display (which is always great fun to photograph). I then took a few final venue shots, and then left the guests to their dancing!
