Here’s the first part of Claire and Simon’s Bradbourne House wedding photography from their lovely spring wedding. Claire and Simon were married at St Peter and St Paul’s Church Ash, followed by a lovely reception at Bradbourne House in Kent.
I started the day at Claire’s mum’s house photographing the bridal preparations, whilst groom preps were covered by Neil McLennan who worked with me on the day. Whilst their was a buzz of excitement tinged with nerves with the girls, the boys got ready quickly to get onto the drinking (medicinal purposes obviously) and a few cigarettes.
I joined Neil at the church to capture guest arrivals, and then waited for the brides arrival. It’s fair to say Claire was quite nervous by this stage, although her nerves seemed to ease on meeting up with Simon at the front of the church, only to return in the form of the giggles during the vows – great to photograph and the congregation found it very funny as well!
After the service, the couple made their way through streams of confetti into the car, and onto Bradbourne house, where the wedding breakfast was due to be held. Come back in a few days for part 2!
