Here are a few shots from Barnaby’s recent christening where family and friends gathered last month at St Paul’s Church in Maidstone. I’d covered Barnaby’s big sister Jemima’s christening a few years ago, so it was lovely to be able to return to the church and capture some fab shots of Barnaby’s celebration.
With a super relaxed family service before hand, we managed to avoid any tears when the crucial moment came – Jemima and all her friends even helped pour the water into the font for Andrew the vicar (once he’d remembered to pop the plug in of course..!) It was a really beautiful informal but special day, and with a family full of singers, the hymns were all belted out at a fair volume, accompanied by Barnaby’s grandma on piano and organ!
After the service the congregation stayed for coffee, tea and cakes as per usual, before the christening party headed back to Barnaby’s mum and dads for a relaxed family tea.
Here are some of my favourites from Barnaby’s day!
