The Archbishops Palace, Maidstone was mainly built during the 14th century by Archbishop Courtenay, and is now the location for Maidstone and Kent’s register office. It’s a grand, imposing setting for a register office, so makes for great wedding photographs, with easy access down to the river Medway behind it, and a separate, private garden to the side for photography. Internally, it has rooms that cater for a variety of different sized weddings.
