Anne Priscilla Bridal is a gorgeous bridal boutique in the centre of Glasgow, providing brides-to-be with a luxurious environment in which to select the wedding gown of their dreams.
This year has been a special one for the team at Anne Priscilla as they are celebrating a fantastic 25 years in business. To commemorate this, they ran a series of competitions for clients, allowing them to win prizes ranging from earrings right up to the star prize, which was to be announced live at an anniversary party. The fantastic fist prize was a bespoke wedding dress from the amazing Stewart Parvin, coupled with two bridesmaids dresses from Private Label.
The team at Anne Priscilla were kind enough to invite Louisa from Stewart Parvin up to the 25th anniversary party to make the grand announcement of the winner of the star prize. Not only would the bride-to-be receive a free Stewart Parvin gown and two bridemaids dresses, they would also be lucky enough to receive a personal consultation with Stewart himself, receiving his valuable advice and assistance in styling her entire wedding day look.
The evening started with brides-to-be, family, friends and past brides enjoying a few glasses of champagne, before a few words from the boutique’s owner, Karen. We then enjoyed the most amazing catwalk presentation, showcasing not only Anne Priscilla’s current range but also some beautiful dresses worn throughout the last 25 years including fantastic dresses from the archives of designers stocked by Anne Priscilla, complete with some amazing 80’s puff sleeves!
After the catwalk show, the tension in the room was palpable as Louisa took to the stage to announce the winner of the grand prize – Jemma looked suitably shocked and pleased as her name was announced! All the best for your forthcoming wedding Jemma!
The guests were then invited downstairs for a few more glasses of bubbly and to read about the story of Anne Priscilla’s opening and work throughout the last 25 years.
Here are some of my favourite shots from the party!
