I’m primarily a Kent wedding photographer, but I also undertake lots of other types of photography. My main other interest is boudoir photography and model portfolio work. Here are some favourites from a recent Kent boudoir photography model portfolio shoot with the lovely Elle.
Warning – some of these images are not safe for work!
I’d wanted to work with Elle for a while, so when I saw she was coming to Kent I snapped up a half day shoot with her. Elle would be the first to describe herself as more of a plus size model, and actively markets herself in that area. My kent boudoir photography is all about creating flattering poses and showing off a clients best attributes while minimising any unflattering elements. Photographing a more curvy figure (in lingerie or nude) is always great posing practice to ensure that the subject looks their best and shows off those curves to the best of their ability.
I much prefer to photograph on location, rather than using a sterile studio space. At this location, we made use of the lovely bay windows and mostly used natural light supplemented by a large gold panel reflector to give a warmer look to the photographs. Later on, I made use of videolight to just add that little bit of an extra lift to the light levels.
If you’d like to enquire about either a boudoir photoshoot, or model portfolios, please contact me to discuss your requirements.
