Here’s the second part of the Greenwoods Hotel wedding photography for Suzanne and Jon’s wedding. Hope you enjoy!
After getting married at St Margaret’s church, Suzanne and Jon made their way through the downpour to Greenwoods Hotel, still with smiles on their faces! After a greeting drink, the bride and groom and guests enjoyed reception drinks plus icecreams from the icrecream seller – no-one seemed to mind the indoor setting in Greenwoods library, and it made for great, fun photographs!
Once refreshed, I took the bride and groom off for a quick portrait photography session, using Greenwoods’ fantastic wood-panelled staircase as a backdrop. Greenwoods has some great indoor spots so it didn’t matter that it was still raining outside. We then did the group shots, making use of the fantastic staircase at Greenwoods Hotel. I then made my way to the marquee to capture the details – the guys had laid on a few little funny gifts on the tables for the guests! Then the bride and groom joined me prior to the receiving line.
Once everyone had been greeted and had sat down for the meal, as if by magic, the rain stopped! At a suitable point between courses, we took advantage of the clearing weather to get some portraits out in Greenwoods’ stunning grounds.
Come back in a few days for part 3 – speeches, dancing (including surprise confetti cannon) and some stunning bridal images in the funkier part of Greenwoods!

It was nice to see the comedy eyebrows stayed attached for quite a while….
