Although I’m primarily a wedding photographer, I do undertake portrait shoots as well – here are some of my favourite images from a recent new-born session. This is a great time to get lovely, relaxed pictures of your new baby and any siblings. My approach to new-born photography is photojournalistic – I used natural light for this session and just tried to capture the little one as she was (other than a few set ups with her proud big sister). As much as I admire it, personally I’m not one for posing little babies or putting them on scales or in baskets etc. – this stuff will look really dated in years to come (although perhaps great to get out at their wedding!)
