“We are so grateful to you for such atmospheric and beautiful photos of our wedding, which capture the mood perfectly. They are natural and full of life, and a spectacular reminder of a wonderful day. We haven’t stopped looking at them!”

Kent Wedding Photographer David Burke

I’m a full-time Kent wedding photographer based in Tunbridge Wells. My mostly photojournalistic approach to wedding photography means that I aim to document the spirit and story of your wedding day in as unobtrusive a manner as possible, preferring to let the story unfold around me rather than overly directing and interfering with proceedings so that you can enjoy your wedding day to the fullest.

Whilst I photograph most of your day candidly, I will take time to create some stunning images of the two of you, and capture those few, important family groups.

I work at all of Kent’s leading wedding venues and accept commissions across Kent, East and West Sussex, Essex, Surrey, London and the UK as a whole.

Reportage wedding photography

Your wedding day is the most important day of your life, so it’s vital to capture it with an amazing, permanent, professional photographic record.

I pre-plan as much as I can before the day to ensure it runs smoothly, from a pre-wedding consultation to discuss locations and timings, to a pre-wedding shoot to ease any nerves about photography.

On your wedding day I will photograph all the way from the bride getting ready through until after your first dance, usually staying thirty minutes to an hour beyond it, to capture those great guest moments! I photograph most of the day in a candid, natural way.

Your final, edited photographs will be presented in a mix of creative styles including colour and black and white processing, all presented on a stunning USB (with re-print rights) for you to treasure.
